White Eyes Creek - Posted on 09/25/2007
While out driving one evening a few weeks ago, exploring roads untraveled, I came upon this creek just about dusk. This spot is located in a small valley nestled in amongst the ridges a few miles northwest of me. The creek runs through a beautiful farm that probably looks like it did 60 years ago. The water level is low as we haven't had the rainfall we should have this summer, so the water is a bit muddy looking.

Thank you for taking the time to visit, and for your comments - I really appreciate them! -- Kim

Nice greens. but this seems a little bright for me. It seems to work if you cut off the bright top.

Looks like a lovely place to get away. That's one thing I miss about Ohio. In the summer it's safe to walk in the woods. In the deep south snakes and such would be a danger.

I like it. Its very colorful green, but I really like that. An with that mirroring muddy water makes an phantastic picture.
